Music with Michael
In-home one-on-one music lessons — fun, structured, and tailored to the student.
I've been playing music for most of my life, starting with piano and eventually expanding into guitar, drums, bass, music production/recording, and songwriting. I studied Music Technology and Business at the University of Vermont and went on to work in broadcast engineering, building studios for radio, television and podcast production. Along the way, I discovered how much I enjoy teaching, which led me to work as an instructor at Wolcott College Preparatory High School. Today, I focus on private lessons, helping students build confidence and develop a real connection to music in a way that's both structured and fun.
In-home one-on-one music lessons designed to be fun, engaging, and structured. Lessons focus on building rhythm, listening skills, confidence, and a genuine love for music. Lessons are tailored to each child's age, personality, and attention span.
Group band coaching offered as well.
